France (FR:CDG),The most important sectors of France’s economy in 2018 were public administration, defence, education, human health and social work activities (22.4%), wholesale and retail trade, transport, accommodation and food services (17.8%) and Professional, scientific and technical activities; administrative and support service activities (14.0%). Intra-EU trade accounts for 59% of France’s exports (Germany 14%, Spain 8% and Italy and Belgium 7%), while outside the EU 8% go to the United States and 4% to China. In terms of imports, 69% come from EU Member States (Germany 18%, Belgium 10% and the Netherlands 8%), while outside the EU 5% come from both the United States and China.
